Hi parents,
Here is an important update on what’s coming at the REV!
WEDNESDAY NIGHT
This Wednesday we are back on for our normal time (6:30pm) and normal place (23801 Jonathan Pl). We have a unique time called “Table Talk” where students sit around tables and have a time of guided discussion. This week the discussion will be about “Glorifying God with Your Phone”. I cannot stress enough how important of a topic this is! I preformed and anonymous survey of our students and their use of phones. I can’t wait to share the results at our next parent meeting. About 80% of the students in our ministry say they “desire to change their smartphone habits”. More teaching on discernment with technology is to come in the future!
THIS SUNDAY
This Sunday we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ! That being said we will not meet for 2nd service HS ministry! Enjoy one of the 3 services with your family!
Sunrise Service: 6:00am
1st Service: 8:30am
2nd Service: 10:30am
MYSTERY NIGHT
Coming very soon is the biggest event of the Spring semester. It starts at 5:00pm at Thompson Middle School and ends at 9:00pm. $15 dollars for student BUT free for new visitors. Students will travel around the Murrieta/ Wildomar area to complete a scavenger hunt… to state is lightly. At the end of the night the winners will be rewarded and the gospel will be preached. Pray that many new visitors come to this event, respond to the gospel and connect with our church.
Students must do 2 things to attend Mystery Night:
Place their name on a team sheet and turn it in to Sarah Wyatt (1 sheet per team)
If your students needs help finding a team, have them speak with Sarah Wyatt.

SENIOR DAY
This Saturday our seniors are headed to the beach! They will meet up with staff leaders at the Oceanside train station at 10:00am. They will take the train down to Carlsbad, Encinitas and San Diego. They will be back at the Oceanside train station by 7:00pm to be picked up or drive home. They should contact their staff leader if they need a ride to Oceanside and back. They should also bring enough money for lunch and dinner.
In order to take the train they need to download the “PRONTO” app. It can be found by searching “PRONTO San Diego” in the App Store. Within the app they must make an account and load a debit/ credit card. The total cost of the train is around $10. If they cannot use their phone for this purpose, there is an option to buy a ticket at the station.
There will be a brief meeting with the senior students after Wednesday night to go over all of these details.
