SERMON AUDIO & EVENTS
Hi parents,
There is always so much going on in high school ministry to be excited about. I wanted to briefly update you on Wednesday night sermons, Campus Rev & upcoming events.
SERMONS
We concluded a brief study in Hosea last week and will now start a study in Colossians. Today, students are bombarded by an onslaught of secular philosophies. They are being taught by culture that Jesus does not provide them with what they need. On top of that, the students in our ministry easily find themselves sliding into a works based acceptance from God. Colossians will teach us that JESUS IS ENOUGH. He is enough for salvation and more than enough for our joy. This week we look at Paul’s introduction in Colossians 1:1-2. Here are some questions to ask your student on the drive home;
Who wrote Colossians? Who was the audience?
What is a saint?
What does it mean that Jesus is sufficient?

CAMPUS REV
I just want to keep this ministry in front of you to be praying for. We have already seen students come to a Wednesday night because they were invited through Campus Rev. Pray that those who come will stick around and that they would come to faith in the Gospel. Today, I will be teaching on the difference between Catholicism and Christianity at Murrieta Valley, as we have many professing catholics attending. Tomorrow, Max Maitland will be teaching on the nature of Jesus during 1st lunch and two of our senior boys will be walking through the Gospel during 2nd lunch at Paloma Valley. We are still working at getting on Santa Rosa’s campus. Pray that the school administration would approve the application so that we can start evangelism there.
